A welcome intervention here, the council has removed pedestrian islands, removed all street parking, and installed very wide wand-protected cycleways. They've also built two zebra crossings.
This work was done so the council could remove the covid-era EATF cycle lanes from the Bridgewater Way road. This is a better route as it serves houses, businesses, etc - BW Way serves nothing.
